Job description
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer science, Information Technology, or relevant master s degree
- 6+ years of experience in managing the projects in muti-vendor environment.
- PMP, Agile and Scrum Master or equivalent certification preferred Strong Project Management knowledge in all Key Process Areas of Project management
- Must have strong project management skills on budget management, forecasting, variance tracking and ensuring project budget always within the baseline.
- Strong written and verbal communication experience in global delivery model.
- Strong Analytical and interpersonal skills; Problem solving skills
- Experienced working in customer facing Roles
- Ability managing multi-vendor engaged projects
- Ability to understand the business needs and objectives of the projects
- Ability to communicate, drive and control meetings focused on the objectives and deliverables of the project
- Experience working in project management tools for schedule, efforts, budget, resource planning etc.
- Ability to manage relationship with customer and relevant stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Manage project end to end from Initiation to closure
- Developing detailed project plans, resource planning, resource allocation
- Ensuring project is delivered on time and on budget
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Act as a bridge between various internal/external stakeholders - external stakeholders such as in customer / partners / vendors / associations
- Work closely with Technical Leaders, Architects and Test leads to maintain the health of the project
- Delegate Project Tasks to team
- Monitor and Track progress and performance of the project
- Manage project budget end to end
- Manage Scope / Manage change where applicable
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as and when needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholder s satisfaction
- Perform risk/issues management to eliminate /minimize project risks/issues
- Conduct Project meetings and send minutes of meeting with action items and action owners
- Control the project meetings to be focused on project objectives and deliverables
- Identify risks, issues, dependencies and plan mitigation and resolution
- Track applicable SLA s for project milestones
- Liaison to get to sign-off from customer for project
